Guangzhou International Textile City

There are 18 streets in the basement(negative 1st floor), except fabrics, Guangzhou International Textile City is a paradise of garment accessories too, thousands of samples piled up in every shop…will make your head whirl again, you can find stunning choices of lady’s belts in the end of streets 1~5, dazzling embroideries and laces in streets 5~8, countless zippers in streets 9~15, and hot-fix rhinestones patch, buttons, sequine trims… you will feel impossible to name everything.

If you are looking for some special type or high quality fabrics, 2nd ~5th floor can be ideal, some sellers there are specialized in a special type or imported fabric. The 6th floor is not interesting but you can get something to eat on the 7th floor, most of them are Chinese food.

Description

Guangzhou International Textile City is a seven floor group-building which also named as “China Fabrics & Accessories Center”, it’s about 310,000 square meters area with 16 meters wide passage inside the building. Compared to its neighbor markets, many fabrics and accessories from 4000 shops here are either better quality or more trendy. There are quite a lot flagship stores on the 1st floor and basement, let’s take a quick look.

Along Ruikang Lu, there are 4 entrances wrote with F1, West Gate, E4, E3, or you can call it 4 streets. Go inside from West Gate you will arrive a big opening square with elevators and escalators, here is a division of E/F/C/D area of Guangzhou International Textile City, and A/B area is behind of area C. Basically speaking, area F/A/B/ more knitted fabric and area C/D/E/F(the part adjoining to E) more woven fabric, but not strictly. The market is more like a “stew”, hardly to say which area for which fabric, we take silk as example, shop number E1185, E1072, E2118, D1077, D1025, D1011, D1015, D1016 seems all in E/D area, but when you arrive, you will find that’s not easy to find all of them.
